This guide will help you from where to have your party, to invites, to safety tips. Where to Have a Quad ATV Party Usually if you're already planning to have an ATV party you already know the area around you and probably already have an idea where to have one. But just in case you're new to the whole experience here are a few tips on where you can throw an ATV party. 1 An Extreme Sports Park Do a search in your local area on any extreme sports parks that will allow you to rent ATVs & use their park for the day. Places like this usually have an area to set up for a party as well and other rental gear. 2 Your Own Backyard If you have large property and are willing to rent extra ATVs or any four wheel off road vehicle for your party this is a great way to go. 3 Desert, Woodsy Area, Fields & Hillsides Look for spots in your area where there is enough room to ride ATVs. If you don't know where to go you can always call your city or county officials and ask them where there is a good spot to ride. 4 Bike Paths These are great to use especially by the beach. It's extremely important to put safety before fun and when dealing with any extreme sport, especially ATVs. ATVs are not toys and should only be driven by people that have experience with them and they are not for very young children to play with. Before letting kids ride ATVs make sure you sit them all down and explain to them all the safety precautions and let them know what the dangers could be. 1 Wear a Helmet This is the obvious one no matter what kind of vehicle you're operating whether it's a bicycle or a motorcross bike. If you're exposed then you need a helmet. 2 Ride With An Adult Children younger than 13 or with no experience should ride as a passenger with an adult on a larger two seat quads. ATVs are not toys and should definitely have the proper supervision. They have ATVs for children and larger ones for adults so just make sure that the child is on a proper one. 3 Proper Gear It's always good to wear long sleeved shirts and pants instead of shorts when riding just for more safety, but there is some great ATV gear that you can buy as well. In addition, enclosed shoes and gloves gives more protection. 4 Stay Off Main Roads Stay off main roads when driving any quad off road vehicles at all times. ATVs are smaller than cars and harder to see so it can be very dangerous. 5 Do Not Overload an ATV or Quad Do not let kids or anyone ride overcrowded on one ATV. Don't let them squeeze in on the seats or ride on the front of the quad.
